Our dedicated Cinema Room at Manor Grange Care Home was created to bring our residents closer together, and it is the perfect place for friends, family, and loved ones to relax and spend time with one another.

Residents have access to a fantastic selection of films, ranging from black and white westerns to family favourites to more contemporary romantic comedies. There is something for everyone in our amazing private cinema.

A Cinema Designed For Our Residents

Our stunning cinema room was created for the enjoyment of our residents. Residents have the perfect place to sit back, relax and watch a film or two, right on their doorstep. We love nothing more than to see our residents utilising this space; settling into their seats, excited to watch a film and simply escape into a fictional world for a few hours. Residents are also entitled to reserve our cinema room so that they may invite friends and family members and have a private room to spend valuable time together.

Getting lost in a good movie is one of life’s greatest joys, with many films serving as time capsules to bygone eras. Nostalgia is a powerful emotion, and our cinema room allows residents to watch old movies from their childhood and rediscover feelings that have been buried over the years. Films are wonderful for not only enjoying the present, but also for uncovering and sharing fond memories with fellow residents and staff; a trip to the cinema room can be for those who want to spend time alone, as well as those who appreciate the social aspect it provides.

Our cinema room has been purposefully-built to offer residents the complete cinema experience within the comfort of their home. With a large screen, comfortable seating, cinema-style refreshments, and an extensive selection of film titles, residents can relax and enjoy their favorite movies.

Each of our residents is welcome to make use of our cinema room alongside fellow residents or their loved ones. On special occasions, residents can arrange to enjoy private viewings with friends and family.

We are delighted to provide a wide selection of movie titles covering various genres. Our team collaborates with residents to understand their favorite films, ensuring there is a suitable option for everyone. Additionally, we occasionally screen special televised events, including sports and national celebrations.
