Our Easter Scavenger Hunt
Here at Manor Grange Care Home, we held a special event for our residents to celebrate Easter. We held an Easter Afternoon Tea Party where families of our residents came along to enjoy the special occasion with us and we had a lovely day out in the glorious sunshine.
Along with family members and loved ones, we invited the local children over for the occasion as part of our initiative to forge links within the local community. We held a big Easter Egg Hunt where the children had to search for Easter Treats in and around the garden and there was a special prize for finding our 'Golden Egg' which had been hidden by the Easter Bunny.
The whole day was wonderful and all of our residents commented on how lovely it was to see them all having so much fun, playing, laughing and searching round the garden for delicious chocolate treats.
It's important for us to come up with other ways we can get our residents involved with fun activities and they love spending time with children, so this Easter Sunday was perfect.
