Manor Grange’s Dementia Group

Our new Dementia Group has been a great success. As well as providing new and exciting sensory activities, a new Lunch Club has been trialled where residents can prepare simple lunches and then enjoy eating together in a more intimate setting.

We intend to roll out photo storyboards of these activities so that relatives can see how their loved ones have been involved in the activities at Manor Grange. The storyboards will be displayed in individual rooms for residents to be reminded of the fun they've had socialising and taking part in the various activities.

We believe it's vitally important for residents living with dementia to experience a stress-free and tranquil life, and our team go above and beyond to incorporate therapies and activities suited to their needs. We look forward to continuing with our Dementia Group and seeing the benefits it brings to our residents.
