It was pizza all round at Manor Grange thanks to Domino’s
In these unprecedented times, moments of kindness are greatly appreciated and when it comes in the form of free pizza (15 to be exact) – who could say no!
When Manor Grange took the call with an offer of free pizza from the local Domino’s, they couldn’t resist. The delicious edible gifts were offered up as a massive Thank You for the hard work, dedication and support delivered by the care team in what are extremely challenging and uncertain times.
As you can imagine, the staff loved the surprise. Manor Grange Care Home Manager, Billy Thomson had this to say: “It’s always lovely to know members of the local community are thinking about you. We have a fantastic team here at Manor Grange but since the emergence of COVID-19 and subsequent lockdown throughout the UK, we have had to become that more diligent and focused.
We’d like to say thanks to Domino’s – it meant a lot to my team and please note (said with a big smile) we are more than happy to take another delivery in the future!
It’s also so touching to hear the huge round of applause every Thursday at 8pm when people take time out for a few minutes to celebrate everyone who is making such an incredible difference in these difficult times.”
