A Run Out in Our Brand New Car

Here at Manor Grange Care Home, we are excited to share some wonderful news with you. This month, we’ve introduced a new Audi A6 for the residents to enjoy, and it’s already been put to great use! Our new car gives our residents the chance to take part in regular trips out, enjoying a change of scenery and the feeling of being pampered along the way.

For many of our residents, having the opportunity to get out and about is incredibly important. Whether it’s a leisurely drive or a visit to one of Scotland’s beautiful parks, these trips offer a refreshing break from the everyday routine and provide valuable time to relax and enjoy the world beyond the care home.

First Trip to Beecraigs Country Park

We’ve already had our first trip out in the new Audi, and it was a fantastic success. Donald and Eliza, two of our long-term residents, were absolutely delighted with a run out to Beecraigs Country Park. The day was perfect for a stroll, and the pair enjoyed a leisurely walk alongside the loch, taking in the crisp autumn air and doing a spot of bird watching.

Eliza was especially captivated by the towering trees, marvelling at their height and the beautiful autumn colours of the leaves. Both residents loved their outing, and it’s safe to say that our new car has already brought a lot of joy to Manor Grange.
