A Proud Team Following Care Inspectorate Success
Another success at Manor Grange!
This month we held a big party for staff and residents in recognition of all the hard work the team has collectively achieved in receiving fabulous feedback and scores not only from the Care Inspectorate but also from Care Concerns Quality Assurance Auditors where we were the first home in the country to achieve “Green” in their traffic light scoring system for Quality Improvement.
The Care Inspectorate (CI) is a scrutiny body that inspects all kinds of medical and social care services around Scotland. It is the aim of the CI to ensure that care services are providing a high standard in all that they do. The CI visits care services and observes a number of aspects in order to provide a rating and feedback, and support with making changes if necessary.
The framework that the CI uses monitors how good a care service is at supporting resident's wellbeing, leadership, and their planning for care and support, in addition to what the staff and home setting are like. We are delighted to announce that our most recent report rates us as a 5 / very good across all of these categories.
Providing high-quality care for every resident is extremely important to all of us and we are proud to be recognised for all our achievements, especially after the very challenging times of the pandemic. Our team will continue to work hard in order to retain our excellent reputation and we look forward to seeing future successes in the home.
